Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technologist to support acute care patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. This 13-week contract position is designed for skilled professionals with a strong clinical background in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Scrubbing, monitoring, and documenting during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Performing right and left heart catheterizations, with or without intervention.
  • Assisting with structural heart and vascular cases such as TAVR and mitral clip implantation.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella device insertion and management.
  • Supporting patients through sedation and Phase 1 recovery; ICU or PACU experience is highly advantageous.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and EP technologist experience.
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) verification.
  • Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Proven procedural experience with the ability to scrub, monitor, and document effectively.
  • Familiarity with sedation protocols and acute patient monitoring.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM 5:30 PM with on-call responsibilities.
