Job Description

A position is available for an experienced Imaging - Cath Lab Technician skilled in cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures. This opportunity involves working in a split lab environment where rotation between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology units ensures a dynamic and engaging workflow. The role requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience and welcomes both first-time travelers and local technologists ready for a contract position.

Responsibilities include supporting clinical teams during catheterization lab procedures, assisting with patient preparation, operating imaging equipment safely and accurately, and performing quality control checks to ensure imaging effectiveness. Flexibility is essential, as floating within the facility and coverage of weekend call shifts will be part of the schedule. The position involves working a 4x10-hour day schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in similar imaging roles
  • Competency in cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology imaging
  • Ability to work weekend call shifts and float within the facilitys scope of practice
  • Strong attention to patient safety, infection control, and compliance standards
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Additional Details: This is a contract opportunity with an orientation period aligned to the contract length. Compliance with all orientation and credentialing requirements is mandatory for timely start. Holiday work during major holidays such as Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years may be required consistent with contract terms. Call schedules typically include about 9 to 10 shifts over a six-week rotation.
