Job Description

A healthcare role is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technician in Spring, TX, offering an engaging opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within a dynamic clinical setting. This position is a 13-week contract with a 36-hour workweek, structured around four 10-hour shifts running from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform special and invasive radiology procedures, maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, administer contrast agents when necessary, and position patients appropriately.
  • Select imaging techniques to ensure superior technical quality.
  • Enter and monitor patient data accurately.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests on radiology equipment and assist with accreditation processes.
  • Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
  • Participate in emergency on-call rotations.
  • Maintain safety and compliance standards for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Support departmental policies on time management, supply control, productivity, and quality of services.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Provide compassionate, personalized care in alignment with organizational service standards.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
  • Active or temporary Texas Medical Board license (MRT).
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) certification is required.
