Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging professional skilled as a Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting. This contract position is located in Salem, MA, offering the chance to apply specialized expertise in interventional cardiac procedures within a well-equipped facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced cardiac catheterization and EP lab procedures including PCI, Impella, balloon pump support, device implants, lead revisions, and ablations.
  • Scrub actively during procedures to assist the cardiologists effectively.
  • Operate Toshiba X-Ray imaging equipment with proficiency.
  • Document patient data accurately using the EPIC-Cupid electronic medical record system.
  • Potentially float to Interventional Radiology as needed.
  • Adhere to all patient safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab and EP setting.
  • ARRT Certification as a Radiologic Technologist and a current Massachusetts Radiology Tech license.
  • Active AHA ACLS certification.
  • Demonstrated skills in interventional cardiac procedures, PCI, and EPIC system use.
  • Proven ability to scrub and assist in cardiac device implantations and related EP procedures.
  • Reliable candidate able to commit to call shifts and secure housing within 30 minutes of the hospital to fulfill on-call duties.

Shift Schedule:

  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM.
  • Seven call shifts per four-week schedule block, including three weekend days (Friday-Sunday).
