Job Description

Step into an advanced cardiac imaging environment, where your expertise supports a leading team in a high-acuity Cath Lab setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute to exceptional patient care in a procedural unit recognized for its state-of-the-art technology, updated procedure suites, and award-winning performance in cardiac care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Rotating weekends and holiday coverage
  • On-call rotation approximately 15-18 days per month

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) credential required
  • Advanced proficiency scrubbing for LHC/RHC, PCI, STEMI, and peripheral procedures
  • Ability to monitor and provide support in prep/recovery as needed
  • Familiarity with GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra
  • Experience using MacLab/Meditech documentation systems
  • Ceil blue scrubs (provided by the facility)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Monitor patient status and equipment in real-time
  • Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and a team of 5-10 physicians
  • Float as necessary to prep and recovery areas within the procedural department
  • Maintain meticulous records within the Meditech EMR platform
