Job Description

Step into a dynamic imaging role as a Cath Lab Technologist supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures. Work alongside a dedicated team on a busy unit utilizing cutting-edge equipment including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience with a variety of interventional cardiac and vascular cases in a collaborative environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Daytime shifts only
  • Evening and weekend call required

Key Qualifications:

  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Credentialed as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist
  • Previous experience in cath lab or interventional cardiology settings
  • Proficiency in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, interventional coronary cases, structural heart, and peripheral interventions
  • Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced healthcare environments
  • Compassionate, effective communicator skilled at working independently and as part of a team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment
  • Monitor patient status and document findings using the Meditech system
  • Maintain a patient-centered focus during all procedures, delivering compassionate care
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
  • Participate in call coverage during evenings and weekends as scheduled
