Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging - Cath Lab Technician to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a busy healthcare setting. This 13-week contract role requires a dedicated professional with specialized skills to provide exceptional patient care and technical support within the Cath Lab.

Location: This position is based in Las Cruces, NM, a city known for its scenic desert landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and outdoor recreational activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab Technician experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
  • Valid New Mexico state license

Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures specific to cardiac catheterization under physician supervision
  • Operate cath lab equipment safely and effectively
  • Respond promptly to call requirements and adapt to floating assignments as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in accordance with protocols
  • Collaborate with the cardiac care team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Schedule:

  • Day shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Call duty and floating responsibilities are part of the role
