Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technician specializing in imaging to support a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory. This contract role is ideal for experienced professionals ready to contribute their expertise in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with cardiac catheterizations and other invasive cardiac procedures.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes.
  • Manage sterile field and assist with equipment setup and breakdown.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or similar role in cardiac imaging.
  • Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and other imaging technologies.
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and catheterization procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred.
