Job Description

A healthcare facility in Kent, WA is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract in an acute care setting. This position requires specialized knowledge and hands-on skills in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Certification requirements: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) verification
  • Proficient in performing and documenting right and left heart catheterizations, with or without interventions
  • Experience with structural heart and vascular cases such as TAVR and mitral clip procedures
  • Knowledgeable in IABP and Impella insertion techniques
  • Familiarity with sedation and Phase 1 recovery protocols; ICU or PACU experience is a plus
  • Skilled in scrubbing, monitoring, and documenting during procedures
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system

Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and assist during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
  • Monitor patient status and document procedural details accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality of care
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support patient care

Shift Details:

  • 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call duties
