Job Description

A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. This contract position is based in Grove City, OH, serving a major hospital known for comprehensive cardiovascular and neurovascular care. Candidates with specialized experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Neuro Interventional Radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Scrub, monitor, and circulate in the Cath Lab, Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR), Electrophysiology (EP), and Neuro Interventional areas.
  • Operate and maintain knowledge of various imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, and X-ray systems.
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, radiation protection, and sterile techniques to ensure patient safety and procedural success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience, with preference for Interventional Radiology exposure.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License is mandatory.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing cardiac catheterizations and IR cases.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, physics, exposure, positioning, and radiation safety.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week (07:00 AM 05:30 PM).
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage.
  • Call duty includes approximately 8-10 shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends.
  • Block scheduling accommodations available.
