A Cath Lab Technician with a minimum of two years of experience is needed for a contract position in Goose Creek, SC. This role supports a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital equipped with five cath lab rooms plus a hybrid OR. Candidates with experience in right and left heart catheterizations, PCIs including complex cases, CTOs, and various structural heart interventions will find this opportunity rewarding.
Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of catheterization procedures such as diagnostic right and left heart caths, PCI, complex PCI, ASA, PFO/ASD closures, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, peripheral, and vascular interventions. The role requires participation in a 4x10-hour day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with on-call duties approximately 1-2 nights per week and one weekend every six weeks, including potential holiday coverage. Familiarity with EPIC charting is preferred.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab technician experience; first-timers considered
- Certifications: SCRQSA, ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association), CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred; ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R) accepted
- Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
- Ability to handle complex interventions and procedures
- Comfortable with on-call rotations and potential holiday assignments
