A Cath Lab Tech opportunity is available for a healthcare professional skilled in cardiac imaging and interventional procedures. This contract role requires expertise in the cardiac catheterization lab and offers a dynamic environment focused on diagnosing and treating patients with vascular and cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures and assist during cardiac catheterizations, including ablations and pacemaker insertions.
• Apply aseptic techniques and manage vascular access devices such as sheaths and TR bands.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms in real time.
• Ensure patient safety during use of IABP and Impella devices, requiring high competency.
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR system (EPIC) and utilize specialized department equipment (Merge/Hemo).
• Collaborate with department leadership for seamless patient care and adhere to all clinical protocols.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab environments.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT or RCIS.
• Proven competency with IABP and Impella devices is mandatory.
• Skilled in aseptic technique, line securement, sheath pulling, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Experience with chest pain, vascular issues, ablations, and pacemaker procedures.
• Ability to quickly adapt and complete orientation including departmental and facility-specific training.
