Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent)
  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • One or more years of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
  • Strong proficiency in imaging equipment, sterile technique, and radiologic safety protocols
  • Solid knowledge of coronary anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Ability to adapt to emergent situations and work efficiently within a procedural team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, operating, and maintaining all imaging equipment used in the cath lab
  • Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitoring patients vital signs and responding promptly to changes
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of procedures, supplies, and patient data
  • Adhering to safety, infection control, and HIPAA protocols at all times
  • Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in on-call rotation or flexible shifts as needed
