Job Description

A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional skilled in Cath Lab procedures, with preferred experience in Interventional Radiology (IR). This contract position is based near Dublin, OH, specifically at a well-established medical facility in Columbus. Candidates eligible to apply must live more than 50 miles from the facility to meet location requirements.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week (07:00 AM 5:30 PM)
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation (block scheduling available)
  • On-call shifts 810 times per month, including 12 weekends

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab technologist experience
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid Ohio Radiologic License (ODH)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficient in scrubbing for cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology cases
  • Solid knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology

Responsibilities:

  • Support Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Neuro Interventional Radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Assist with sterile technique maintenance, patient monitoring, and equipment operation (including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound)
  • Perform roles as scrub tech, circulator, and monitor during minimally invasive vascular and neuro procedures
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and operational protocols
