Job Description
A Cath Lab Technologist position is available for a contract assignment in Decatur, GA, within a rotating split lab environment including Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology. This role offers a 4x10-hour day shift schedule (07:00 - 17:30) and incorporates weekend responsibilities as part of the call schedule, averaging 9-10 call shifts over a 6-week cycle. Flexibility to float within the facility and scope of practice is required.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
- Competence in imaging technology relevant to cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Full compliance with required certifications and clinical standards prior to start.
- Ability to work scheduled major holidays as needed, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
- Adaptability to rotating between multiple specialized areas within the lab.
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures in cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology settings.
- Participate in on-call coverage and assist during weekend shifts.
- Support floating assignments as necessary, maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to facility protocols and compliance guidelines.
