Job Description

A healthcare role is available for an experienced Radiologic Technologist with expertise in Cath Lab procedures, preferably with Interventional Radiology (IR) experience, located in Columbus, OH. This contract position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to assist specialized physicians in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities include serving as a competent assistant to Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Neuro Interventional Radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Duties encompass scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating within sterile environments while operating advanced imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound. The role requires deep knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, arrhythmia monitoring, and neurovascular interventions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology settings
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Ohio Radiologic License provided by the state's Department of Health (ODH)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficient with sterile technique, X-ray equipment, positioning, exposure, and radiation protection
  • Ability to scrub for both heart catheterizations and vascular interventional radiology cases
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and relevant anatomy

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Every other weekend and holiday coverage with block scheduling flexibility
  • Call shifts approximately 8-10 per month including weekends
