An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab expertise to contribute to a busy Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. This contract position is ideally suited for a professional with at least 3 years of recent interventional cardiac experience, focused on advanced cardiac procedures. The role requires a proactive individual comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working with a diverse adult patient population.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• ARRT Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with current state licensure
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Cath/EP Lab with strong interventional cardiac skills
• Proficient in PCI, device implants, lead revisions, balloon pump, Impella, and ablations
• Ability to scrub and collaborate effectively during procedures
• Experience with EPIC (Cupid) electronic medical records system
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Comfortable with floating to Interventional Radiology as needed

Location: This role is based in Cambridge, MA, with responsibilities at an advanced cardiac unit featuring two state-of-the-art procedure rooms. The hospital offers free on-site parking and a brand-new on-site call room for staff convenience. Candidates must be able to secure housing within a 30-minute radius to accommodate on-call obligations, including nights and full weekends.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• 7 call shifts per 4-week schedule block, including 3 full weekend call shifts (Friday through Sunday)
• Call requirements are dependent on staffing needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including PCI and device implants
• Scrub during complex cardiac interventions and EP procedures
• Chart patient data accurately in EPIC (Cupid)
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and high-quality patient care standards
• Potentially provide coverage in Interventional Radiology when required
