Exciting opportunity for Nurse Practitioners with experience in home health care to deliver high-quality risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members across Howell County, MO. This per diem role offers a flexible schedule and meaningful autonomyyou'll create your own shifts and have the chance to make a significant impact in your local community.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Self-scheduling to accommodate your availability
- Choose your preferred weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitments
Responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Reviewing and documenting prior/current medical history, medical conditions, and medication use
- Educating members on their health conditions and medication regimens
- Recognizing and reporting care gaps, and making appropriate recommendations
- Evaluating members in diverse locations within Howell County, such as West Plains, Mountain View, and Willow Springs
- Focusing solely on assessmentno requirement for treatment planning or medication prescribing
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- MSN from an accredited nursing program
- At least six months of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in a clinical setting is preferred
Compensation for this position includes $80-$90 per completed evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and additional compensation for administrative time.
