Hiring School Psychologist Milford, Deleware 

Position #1: Childhood Center

Location: Milford, Delaware

Dates: ASAP - at least through August (possibly longer, depending on need)

Hours: Full-time (8:10 am - 3:40 pm)

Caseload: 50-75 children, ages ranging from 2-6 years old

Bill Rate: Please indicate your required rate

Requirements:

  • Delaware Psychologist License
  • Early Childhood Experience preferred

Position #2: District-Wide

Location: Milford, Delaware (6 schools total - all within 5 miles of each other)

Dates: ASAP - at least July 1st (possibly longer, depending on need)

Hours: Full-time (7:30 am - 3:00 pm or 8:10 am - 3:40 pm)

Caseload: 50-75 children, ages ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade

Requirements:

  • Delaware Psychologist License
  • Variety of experiences preferred since this will be a position for extra support district-wide

Job Description:

As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of students within the Milford School District. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing counseling services, collaborating with educators and families, and implementing interventions to promote positive outcomes for students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and develop intervention strategies.
  • Serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding best practices for supporting student well-being and academic success.
