Job Description

Job Title: Licensed School Nurse - Shakopee, MN
Responsibilities:

Provide nursing services and support to students in a school setting.
Assess and monitor student health, administer medications, and implement healthcare plans.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals for student care.
Respond to emergencies, maintain student health records, and educate on health topics.
Stay updated on healthcare practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota School Nurse license.
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
Previous experience in school or pediatric nursing preferred.
Strong knowledge of health assessments, medication administration, and emergency care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
CPR and first aid certification.
Familiarity with student health and privacy regulations.
