Job Description

Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (CVOR Nurse)

Location: Boynton Beach, Florida

Duration: 13-week contract with possible extension

Schedule: Day shifts, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts

Details:

Sterilize and prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries
Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing surgical site care and passing instruments
Monitor patients during surgery, including vital signs and anesthesia levels
Complete necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room
Educate patients and their families on their surgical experience
Valid FL or Compact RN license
BLS and ACLS certification
At least 2 years of recent experience in cardiovascular operating room
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
