Hiring School Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Elgin, Illinois

Start/End Date: ASAP - May 30, 2024

Hours/Week: 7 hours per week

Age of Student(s): 3-21

Max Caseload Size: Approximately 15 open cases, though may vary.

School Location: District Wide

Experience Needed: BCBA, ONSITE ONLY

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Onsite presence required.
  • Active Illinois licensure is mandatory.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Elgin, Illinois. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing behavioral assessments, developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and implementing behavior management techniques to support students aged 3-21 within our school district.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure consistency in behavior management techniques across settings.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of student progress.
  • Offer training and support to school staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid BCBA certification.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Active licensure in the state of Illinois is required.
