Job Description

Position: Paraprofessional
Location: Davison, Michigan

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs or learning challenges.
Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities and transitions.
Collaborate with teachers and educational professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
Help students with assignments, projects, and assessments.
Support students' social and emotional development.
Promote a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in education or related field is a plus).
Paraprofessional license preferred.
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
Passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to undergo a background check as required by the school district.
