Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Remote School Psychologist to join our team, dedicated to enhancing the educational and mental health outcomes for students across North Carolina through remote psychological services. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who excels in a virtual setting and is committed to supporting student well-being and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Virtual Psychological Evaluations: Utilize remote testing tools to conduct comprehensive assessments of students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Intervention Planning: Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans that effectively address identified student needs and support their educational progress.
  • Teletherapy Services: Provide direct psychological counseling and support to students via telehealth platforms, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.
  • Collaboration with School Staff: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to integrate psychological insights into effective educational strategies.
  • Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate psychological support during student crises, ensuring rapid and appropriate responses to safeguard student well-being.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the creation and refinement of school mental health programs, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions.


  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, specializing in school psychology.
  • Certification: Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina license as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience: Preferred two years of experience in school psychology, with demonstrated skills in remote assessment and teletherapy.
  • Skills: Proficient in digital communication and psychological assessment tools, excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Ethical, empathetic, proactive in mental health advocacy, and skilled in handling sensitive situations.

Work Environment

  • Remote Work: This is a 100% remote position requiring a secure and confidential home office setup for conducting professional sessions.
  • Flexible Hours: Some flexibility in work hours is necessary to meet the diverse scheduling needs of students and school teams.
