Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher for a position in the Waukegan, IL area. This role will involve working with students with diverse learning needs in a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Adapting general education lesson plans for special education students
Writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participating in IEP meetings
Providing differentiated instruction to meet individual student's needs
Collaborating with other educators and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Providing support and accommodations to help students succeed academically and socially

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Special Education Teacher certification in the state of Illinois
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Strong communication and collaboration skills
