Job Description

Elementary special education teacher job for the 2023/2024 school year - Chandler, AZ

Sunbelt is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated special education teacher for the 2023/2024 school year to join our team in the Chandler, AZ area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse learners and will possess excellent communication and organizational skills.


  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure students' needs are met
  • Use evidence-based practices to facilitate academic, social, and emotional growth for students with disabilities
  • Provide direct instruction and support in small group and individual settings
  • Monitor and track student progress to ensure effective interventions


  • Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
  • Arizona State Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must have reliable transportation to the Chandler, AZ area
