Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team in Allston, MA.

The teacher will work with students who have learning needs and will be responsible for providing individualized and group instruction to help students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Must hold a Massachusetts Special Education Teacher licensure.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, monitor, and update IEPs to meet students' needs.
  • Tailor lessons for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and PBIS.
  • Work with teachers, counselors, and parents to coordinate support.
  • Track academic and behavioral progress, adjusting as needed.
  • Maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom.
  • Regularly update parents on student progress and strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to stay current in special education.
