Job Description

A school district near Lake in the Hills, IL is now seeking a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join their team. The SLI will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing student and hearing individuals within the school community. Your expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) and your understanding of the educational environment will enable you to provide equal access to education and promote inclusion for students with hearing impairments.
Job Details:

  • Full-Time
  • 35 hours per week 
  • On-site position

Job Requirements:

  • EIPA score 3.5 + RID
  • Passed EIPA written test
  • ISBE Approval
  • Previous School Experience (Preferred)
