Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' educational needs and goals.
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families on mental health and behavioral concerns.
  • Promote a positive school climate and implement preventive strategies to address bullying and other issues.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school psychology.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
