Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a school district near Oak Park, IL. As a full-time Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for working with students with a variety of disabilities to develop their fine motor, sensory processing, and other functional skills necessary for success in school and life.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
Collaborate with other members of the school team to ensure coordinated care and support for students
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Provide education and support to parents and teachers regarding students' occupational therapy needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Illinois state licensure as an OT
Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Knowledge of current best practices in occupational therapy for children with disabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
