Job Description

Sunbelt is hiring now for a local school district near San Mateo, CA to help with their Paraprofessional needs. The positions would be for the remainder of the 22-23 school year.

Details about the Job:

Full time
30 hours per week
Monday - Friday
Elementary and Middle School Positions Available!
District determines best fit for assignment placement
May be assigned 1:1 or to a classroom

Duties/ Responsibilities

Work 1:1 with a student in-person or monitoring student(s) who are learning virtually.
Work in a small contained classroom with students in-person or monitoring/running groups virtually
Assist students with learning, focus/attention and/or behavioral challenges
Run small groups or centers
Follow Behavior Support or Health plans
Follow teacher and specialists' directions
Work independently
Take initiative
Attend to daily living needs of students. Assignment may require diapering, toileting, hygiene needs

Requirements:

Must have experience working with students with disabilities
Must Have A.A. Degree or pass a district skills exam or High School Diploma with 48 CEUs
Must have reliable transportation in the event travel between school sites is needed
Prefers: ABA Training, SafetyCare Train
