Full time-onsite-Multiple openings!- Special Education Teacher Job – Near Wrentham, MA
Sunbelt is interviewing for an open Special Education School Teacher Job in Glendale
Colorado area. We've partnered with an incredibly supportive district that is looking for someone to fill an open need for the 2022-2023 school year.

Job specifics:

Full-time, 37.5hrs/wk, 2022-2023 full school year
Looking for K-8 and 5-12 certified special education teachers to fill vacancies for the FY 2022-2023 school year ( 2 in elementary, 1 in middle and 1 in high school)
The position is in the inclusion setting - it's a coteaching position where the gen ed will teach the main content but special ed will provide accommodations, support group work, help with classroom management, and actively be involved during the lesson. There is some pull-out time for remediation of skills as well depending on the grade level.
They will have at least one prep period every day
They are responsible for IEP paperwork for students on their caseload - approximately 6-12 students again depending on the position. I have a team chair who will run meetings, a school psych to test and a secretary for scheduling so they don't need to oversee those pieces.
They will also be responsible for weekly parent communication for students on their caseload
There are no paras in the classroom when the special ed teachers are with the general ed teachers
class size is typically 20-25 in high school but again this is an inclusion classroom so most students are general education students.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
Must have active MA SPED license/certificate
Previous school experienced preferred
