Job Description

Sunbelt is currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to work full-time in a school district near Cane Savannah, SC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic OT to work with students in a supportive and collaborative school district.

Job Description: The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing direct services to students with a variety of disabilities, including physical, developmental, and sensory impairments. The OT will work with students to improve their abilities to perform daily activities and reach their educational goals. Other responsibilities include:

Developing individualized treatment plans for students in accordance with their IEPs
Implementing evidence-based interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual perception, and other areas of functional performance
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social-emotional success
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of students' progress and services provided

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
A valid South Carolina OT license
Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy and special education
Strong communication and collaboration skills
