Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist near Kent Acres, Delaware, to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of individuals who need support in achieving greater independence and improving their quality of life. This role involves working closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare providers to design and implement personalized therapeutic interventions.

Job Details:

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
ASAP—end of the school year
K-12th grade students
3-5 school sites
Onsite only
Clarified in interview

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate clients' abilities and needs to develop customized therapy goals.
Create and execute individualized treatment plans to help clients improve physical, cognitive, and emotional skills.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate clients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic techniques and provide resources for continued care.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state license as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain).
Proven experience in occupational therapy, preferably in [relevant setting, e.g., school, healthcare facility, private practice].
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
