Job Description


• Providing group and individual counseling services
• Mental health in services in the general education classroom
• Providing the written documentation of services i.e. progress reports and progress monitoring, service logs, IEP goals
• Working collaboratively to address a variety of factors in a child's living situation that affect the child’s adjustment in school (home, school, and community)
• Conducting suicide risk assessments
• Completing cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral and adaptive skills assessments
• Participating in collaborative meetings for the following: IEP pre-planning, special education team, center-based classroom team, manifestation determination review
• Participating on the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support team • Consulting and collaborating with families, teachers, other building staff, building administration, outside agencies working with the family.


  • ASAP start – 5/31/24
  • One site - Either K-5 or 6-8, based on skills and experience, with preference considered
  • Full time (35 - 40 hr/wk)
  • Must have CO School Psych Credential or/and CDE special service provider
