Foster City, CA Part-time School-based Occupational Therapist - K-4th Students 
A well-organized school district in the Foster City, CA area has a part-time job opening for an Occupational Therapist starting next school year. In this role, you would provide services to students ranging from K-4th grade with mostly mild-moderate disabilities. We are interested in an Occupational Therapist that will work with students to develop functional skills, allowing them to succeed in the classroom. We are actively interviewing, so apply today! 

Job Type

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 
  • ASAP - June, 2024

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide educationally relevant occupational therapy to students 
  • Provide consultation to teachers and other support staff to encourage/reinforce fine motor and sensory needs, including but not limited to materials and classroom modifications/accommodation
  • Complete initial and re- evaluations and write corresponding reports to assist IEP teams in creating an accurate and useful picture of a child's abilities 
  • Collaborate with IEP teams in making educationally sound decisions related to student programming and special education eligibilities 
  • Complete documentation associated with student performance and progress
  • Provide on-going support to parents and school staff regarding special education processes and procedures


Qualifications: 

  • Active CA OT License is required
