Travel/Contract 13 week assignment
Description:
- Conduct radiographic exams on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
- Appropriately administer radiopharmaceuticals when required
- Review each examination for technical accuracy and present completed examination to radiologist
- Maintain adequate records in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Assist with equipment calibration
- Perform required quality controls on equipment
- Perform QA activities/monitors as required
- Responsible for scheduling
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and coworkers
Experience/Education:
- Successful completion of Nuclear Medicine Program
- Minimum one year full-time experience in clinical nuclear medicine technology including didactic experience equivalent to the curriculum recommended by the AART preferred
- AART License
- Must be knowledgeable in all phases of nuclear medicine and PET exams for all patient categories including infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
- Must be knowledgeable in radiation safety measures
- Must be BLS certified
