English Language Arts Teacher-Full Time-near  Lynwood Illinois 

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Arts Teacher to join Sunbelt


  1. Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote active student participation.
  2. Teach students a variety of English Language Arts skills, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.
  3. Nurture students' love for literature and cultivate their critical thinking abilities through discussions, projects, and interactive activities.
  4. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student performance.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials, assessments, and instructional strategies.
  7. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in English Language Arts education, and integrate innovative teaching techniques into the classroom.
  8. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Must be authorized/citizen of the United States
  3. Teaching certification or license in English Language Arts in associated state
  4. Proven experience teaching English Language Arts at the secondary level (middle school or high school).
  5. Deep knowledge of English literature, grammar, and composition.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  8. Familiarity with educational technology tools and their integration into the classroom.
  9. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and a growth mindset.
