Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Department RN to join a leading healthcare facility in Watertown, NY, for a 13-week assignment. Situated near the beautiful Thousand Islands region, Watertown offers a small-town feel with easy access to stunning natural landscapes and outdoor recreation.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department, including assessment, treatment, and documentation
Utilize critical care skills in urgent and emergent situations
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered care
Act as a charge nurse when required, overseeing workflow and patient care priorities

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Active New York State RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
Critical Care and charge experience preferred
Preferred experience with psychiatric patient care in an emergency setting
Must successfully complete a lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
Must obtain defibrillation certification within six months of employment
Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
