Job Description

Hitchcock, TX: Speech Language Pathologist (School District) 

We are searching for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team at a local school district near Hitchcock, TX. As an SLP, you will work with students that have a range of communication and language disorders, such as autism, developmental delays, cognitive impairments, and speech sound disorders. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify communication and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff on strategies for supporting students with communication and language disorders
  • Attend and participate in meetings and trainings related to the education and treatment of students with communication and language disorders

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state license or eligibility for state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
