Job Description

Remote Special Education Teacher - K-12 (Kansas)


  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure students' educational needs are met.
  • Provide remote instruction and support to students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and IEP goals.


  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Kansas Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with remote teaching technology and tools.
