Digital School Psychologist

Position Overview: VocoVision is seeking a motivated and dedicated Digital School Psychologist to provide remote psychological services to K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have experience with assessments and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. This is a 1099 contract position that offers the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities: As a Digital School Psychologist with VocoVision, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assessment: Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

  2. IEP Support: Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective IEPs that meet the individual needs of students.

  3. Counseling: Providing individual and group counseling to students, addressing issues such as social-emotional development, behavior management, and coping skills.

  4. Consultation: Offering guidance and support to teachers and school personnel on strategies for managing students' behavioral and emotional challenges.

  5. Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitoring and documenting student progress and making data-driven recommendations for interventions and adjustments to IEPs.

  6. Remote Engagement: Utilizing VocoVision's telehealth platform to deliver services effectively and engage with students in a virtual setting.

  7. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and communications with students and school staff.

  8. Professional Development: Staying current with best practices in school psychology and participating in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements: To be considered for the Digital School Psychologist position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with K-12 students in a school or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and writing detailed reports.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality services and making a positive impact on students' lives.
