This travel assignment offers the chance to explore a new city while utilizing your expertise in a supportive healthcare setting.

About the Role:

As a Travel CVOR Technologist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). You'll work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to prepare the surgical environment, maintain sterile technique, and assist with procedures.


  • Set up and maintain the sterile field within the CVOR
  • Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment
  • Anticipate the needs of surgeons and ensure proper instrument availability
  • Assist surgeons during open heart and vascular procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control practices

Shift and Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 4x10 hour shifts - 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM


  • Certified CVOR Technologist (NBSTSA)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a CVOR Technologist in a hospital setting
  • Strong sterile technique and aseptic practices
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new procedures
