CST - Certified Surgical Tech - Travel Contract

There is a 13 week contract now available for a Certified Surgical Tech in Mobile, AL. Coverage is needed full-time at 40 hours per week. The shift is 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. This is a Level I Trauma Facility. Qualified candidates must have at least 2 recent years of CST experience. Level I Trauma and heavy Ortho preferred. 

Duties include: Setting up and breaking down sterile field, performing an accurate instrument count, ensure tools are not damaged or contaminated, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, and prepare patient for transport. 

Assignment Specifics:

  • 13 weeks 
  • Evenings 3p - 11p
  • 40 hours per week 
  • Extensions offered based on performance 


  • Active NBSTA Certification 
  • American Heart BLS
  • 2 years of recent experience 
  • Heavy Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, and General experience
