Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) - Dillwyn

There is an opening for a correctional RN job in Dillwyn, VA. The Correctional RN will be responsible for the general care of patients at the facility. This 13-week assignment has both days or nights available, with a possibility of an extension if desired.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing to assigned patients
• Provide urgent care, med passing, behavioral, medical, and ER
• Record patient history and perform other duties as assigned

Work Hours:

• Full Time 36 hours per week
• Overtime possible, not guaranteed

Experience:

• 1 year of RN experience
• Correctional experience preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in VA, or compact license
• Current BLS certification

Education Requirements:

• ASN or BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing
