Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a long-term care facility in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. This facility offers an 8-week contract position with the possibility of extension upon successful completion.
The RN will work full-time, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts available in the following schedules: Days (6a-2p), Evenings (2p-10p), and Nights (10p-6a). While overtime may be available, it is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility
  • Assess residents' health conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and document residents' vital signs, symptoms, and progress
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and implement comprehensive care
  • Assist in the coordination of resident activities and therapies
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records


Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of West Virginia
  • Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
