Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a long-term care facility in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. This facility offers an 8-week contract position with the possibility of extension upon successful completion.
The RN will work full-time, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts available in the following schedules: Days (6a-2p), Evenings (2p-10p), and Nights (10p-6a). While overtime may be available, it is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility
Assess residents' health conditions and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document residents' vital signs, symptoms, and progress
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and implement comprehensive care
Assist in the coordination of resident activities and therapies
Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards of care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of West Virginia
Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
