Location: Glencliff, NH

Facility: Long Term Care Facility with Dementia/Memory Care Unit and Developmentally Disabled Services

Position Type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts Available: Morning, Evening, Midnight

Hours per Week: 36-40 hours

Shift Duration: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available

Job Description:
Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team to assist a reputable long-term care facility located in Glencliff, NH. This facility houses 120 residents and includes a specialized dementia/memory care unit as well as services for developmentally disabled patients. This position offers a 13-week contract duration with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for residents
Monitor and evaluate resident progress and make necessary adjustments to the care plan
Administer treatments and procedures as ordered by the physician
Educate and support residents and their families regarding their healthcare needs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements:

Valid RN license in the state of New Hampshire
At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or a related field
Experience with dementia/memory care patients preferred but not required
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
