Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a long-term care facility in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.

This is an 8-week contract position with the possibility of extension upon successful completion.

The LPN will work full-time, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts available in the following schedules: Days (6a-2p), Evenings (2p-10p), and Nights (10p-6a). While overtime may be available, it is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Assist in activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents

Qualifications:

Valid and current LPN license in the state of West Virginia
Previous experience in a long-term care facility is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
