A local Hospital is in need of a Registered Dietician (RD) for a contract job opportunity assisting their facility. Please see additional details below.
Job Duties:
Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner, including assessments and progress notes.
Attend all treatment team meeting providing nutritional input.
Serve as the dietitian on call.
Complete nutritional screening and assessment.
Assist with documentation in other buildings as needed.
Communicate with patient reason for diet order and importance of adherence.
Monitor tolerance of diet and effects of diet.
Provide nutrition care to geriatric and adult patients.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Details:
13-26 Week Contract
Full-Time, 40 Hours per week

Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in nutrition, dietetics, or health related program.
Completion and maintenance of the requirements for being a Registered Dietitian (RD) as established by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
