Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Long-Term Care Center in Jane Lew, West Virginia.

This position is for a 4-week contract with the potential for extension, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week on the evening shift.

As a CNA in this facility, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our long-term care residents.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
Assist in turning, positioning, and transferring residents to prevent bedsores and maintain comfort.
Help with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents' needs are met and provide emotional support to residents and their families.
Adhere to strict call-off and attendance policies to ensure consistent staffing levels and uninterrupted resident care.

Requirements:

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of West Virginia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
Must have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Locals preferred, as this is a shorter contract in duration
